Together, this experienced and focused group of individuals make a dynamic and unique team without parallel.
Grant is a highly experienced executive, having held a number of senior leadership roles, including ten years as CEO/MD for ASX-listed companies.
From 2009 to 2013, Grant was CEO/MD of Salmat Ltd (ASX: SLM), successfully transforming the company to Australia’ leading multi-channel communication services company.
Prior to joining Salmat, Grant spent thirteen years with Corporate Express Australia Limited (now owned by Staples Inc, USA), helping establish Australia’s leading business supplies distributor, where he served as CEO/MD for six and half years. Grant’s previous roles at Corporate Express included General Manager of Sales & Marketing, GM Operations and GM IT Products.
Grant previously worked for privately owned IT reseller, WPA Business Products, which he went on to manage from 1992 onwards and in 1995, WPA was acquired by Corporate Express.
Grant’s professional career began immediately after he graduated from the University of New South Wales when he joined the IT industry as an account executive.
Born in South Africa in 1962, Grant Harrod immigrated to Australia in 1978 at the age of 16. He completed his HSC at Barker College in Sydney before attending the University of New South Wales to complete a BA in Political Science.
Grant has an MBA from Macquarie University’s Graduate School of Management and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Grant Harrod is married with no children. Away from the rigours of the corporate world he enjoys cycling and sailing, as well as an active social life with family and friends. He also loves to travel, particularly to places off the beaten track.
Keith was appointed General Manager for LJ Hooker in New Zealand in 2008. He is responsible for the overseeing the running of the residential and commercial LJ Hooker and Harveys brands across the country.
Keith is an experienced real estate and auction specialist who has owned and operated his own franchise business in Kumeu and Helensville.
Keith began his career in 1976 as an auctioneer for Stock and Station Company Dalgetys, in the Waikato region of New Zealand. Over the next decade Keith honed his craft before moving into real estate in 1987 when he joined Harveys and Eves Realty in Tauranga & Mount Maunganu.
In 1992 Keith joined Challenge Realty in Auckland to head up the auction team and was responsible for training and conducting auctions around the country. In 1995 he was appointed Auckland Regional Manager for Challenge in conjunction to driving the Auction division.
In 1996 he was a finalist in the NZ champs for Accredited Auctioneers.
Christopher is the Head of Real Estate for the LJ Hooker Group. He is responsible for managing and growing LJ Hooker’s Australian residential and commercial networks.
His extensive industry knowledge, insight and broad property background spans almost two decades. As a director of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA), an alternate director to the LJ Hooker Franchise Board and a Director of LJ Hooker Commercial Sydney, Christopher’s local experience is augmented by invaluable and extensive exposure to the overseas property arena as an international property consultant in North America and the South Pacific..
Ryan is responsible for LJ Hooker’s effort to be the leader in real estate technology. This includes the development of technology products that are offered to our network, development of software that assists in managing the franchise offer and providing the infrastructure that underpins our technology offerings.
Ryan joined LJ Hooker in 1997. Prior to joining LJ Hooker, Ryan received a broad grounding in technology by developing applications and infrastructure that supported many of Australia’s leading manufacturers. During this time, Ryan also worked as Website Development and Online Marketing Manager for Tourism Northern Territory, which extended his knowledge of online development to encapsulate marketing and consumer needs.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Technology (Optoelectronics) from Macquarie University Sydney, a Graduate Certificate of Management (Technology Management) from Deakin University, Canberra and a Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment.
Graeme is responsible for the overall growth and development of LJ Hooker’s residential sales business across its of offices network.
Graeme leads the LJ Hooker Institute team that designs and facilitates residential training courses to ensure continuous improvement of LJ Hooker salespeople, business owners, property managers and office administrators. LJ Hooker Institute curricula includes management and leadership courses, auction training, auctioneer schools, the staging of The LJ Hooker Auction Idol and Icon competitions and arranging for accreditation of auction marketers and auctioneers to ensure the very best standards of service to our customers.
Graeme joined the real estate industry in 1995 after 15 years in television and radio. He joined the LJ Hooker network in 2001 when he took over the LJ Hooker office in Port Macquarie. He was inducted into the Captains Club in his second year with the network and Multimillion Dollar Chapter in his third year. Within two years, he and his team grew the Port Macquarie office to one of the top 10 offices in the world and four years later opened a second office in Lake Cathie.
Graeme has been ranked within the top 5 salespeople in the world in LJ Hooker network and been awarded bronze and gold medals for sales performance which has positioned him in the top 1% of all salespeople. In 2005, he was invited to join the LJ Hooker Admirals and later that year won the acclaimed Franchise Owner of the Year. He has also won LJ Hooker’s International Community Relationship Award and the International Award for Best Community Marketing. He is past Director on the Board of the Real Estate Institute of NSW.
Graeme’s passion is to grow people’s leadership skills so they can achieve success, and to continue to build the LJ Hooker brand.
Paul was appointed Head of LJ Hooker Home Loans following two successful years as Regional Manager for the Group’s Victoria and Tasmanian real estate operations. As Head of the Home Loans network, he leads a national team of brokers and franchisees to steer them towards future growth in the financial marketplace.
With a strong track record in the finance and real estate industries, Paul is key to the integrated real estate offering LJ Hooker provides to both its customers and network of employees. LJ Hooker branded home loans comprises 15 per cent of the business entity – almost double the rate of competitors.
Before joining LJ Hooker, Paul was RAMS National Head of Franchising for six years where he was integral to developing its franchise model. In his last three years at RAMS Paul delivered outstanding sales growth figures of 40 per cent year on year.
Sarah is our Head of Communications & PR, driving internal and external engagement for our iconic LJ Hooker brand.
Sarah holds more than 10 years of professional media and communications experience, most of which at the helm of PR strategy for Australia's largest public and private property groups.
As a result she holds strong, trusted relationships with property and business editors and journalists across national, state and local media. These relationships, combined with her intricate understanding of property trends and market dynamics, position LJ Hooker as the media’s preferred go-to for industry thought leadership and property profiling.
Sarah is also responsible for our internal communications to engage and inform our network of 7,000 real estate specialists.
